This is me. I’m Dennis Chin, and this is my page.
I’m currently a student attending the Bachelor of Business Administration program from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), majoring in Marketing. I recently earned a Marketing Diploma from NAIT as well in 2009. I also have a background and experience in web and graphic design as well.
Besides my other hobbies and interests such as traveling, drawing, writing, sports, music, movies and video games, my new hobby includes social media, where I’m hoping to try and make a name for myself in the online world.
I’m also a dreamer and a believer that if you have any goals or a dream that you want and you work hard for it, stay focused and able to face any challenges, adversities or setbacks that you can achieve all your goals and dreams. And yeah, I also believe in the whole ‘dreams come true’ stuff that Disney and Hallmark say to us, which is true.
Originally, I was going to rebuild this site to showcase my works from writing pieces to my graphic art designs as a portfolio site. Then, I thoght about making a blog, putting together my love of pop culture, sports with marketing together, blogging about marketing in pop culture industry. I also thought about blogging about all the latest marketing news happening. My solution: why not combine all that together by making a blog talking about marketing in not only pop culture, but also other areas in the field as well… plus creating a portfolio section, showcasing some of my past works. And so, I did. I hope you all enjoy this new site.
